GHOSTS OF NEW YORK: WEST VILLAGE
For some, the West Village conjures up images of bohemians and beatniks, but dig deeper and you'll find darker mysteries buried here. We’ll wind through these twisted alleys to explore a centuries-old cemetery, a haunted carriage house, the “House of Death,” and the secret burial ground beneath Washington Square Park. Visit the restaurant where Aaron Burr mourns his lost daughter and the tavern where Dylan Thomas still rages against the dying of the light.
The standard tour includes a visit to two bars, so please contact me if members of your party are under 21.
Wear comfortable shoes, as the tour is about 1.2 miles of walking. There will be two bathroom/beverage breaks along the way.
